Kyle Payne FSBK Rd1 Race report – Le Mans A positive weekend with good pace learning loads with the new bike, although races did not go quite to plan but outside of my control. This was first visit to the Le Mans circuit so had to learn quick, something I will have to do at many of the rounds this season. Friday: FP1: 1.56.601 P6 FP2: 1.55.363 P6 FP3: 1.53.350 P2 QP: 1.52.464 P3 Race 1: After a good start, in the group for the podium battle. Unfortunately, race ended prematurely following a chain coming off after 2 laps.. darn those bumpy curbs!! ☹ Race 2: Demoted to 11th on the grid due to lap time in race 1. Ok start but got boxed in turn 1 and lost a few spots. Made my way past a few riders but the main pack was long gone so a solid 12 laps to finish in a respectable 6th. There is still work to do, but nothing is impossible and taken a lot of positives from the weekend. My confidence is back and looking forward to seeing what is possible for the rest of the season. Rd 2 May 6-7-8 at Nogaro for the second weekend of the championship. Thanks to all my sponsors for their support. Ben Jolliffe Completing our line up of supported riders in 2022 is Ben Jolliffe age 13, joining for a second season and will competing in the popular and well contested Bemsee Team Green 300 championship. Following a wild card entry in 2021 Ben is looking forward to the challenge of the bigger tracks and larger capacity bike. Getting his maiden podium in 2021 aboard the MDM-R sponsored MK70 MiniGP in the British FAB racing championship Ben has grown in confidence and suspect he will be at the sharp end of the championship. #bemsee #teamgreen #mdm-r
